Cycle 22 km uphill to Dochu La Pass (3,100 m), a key highlight of many Himalayan cycling tours. Enjoy panoramic mountain views before a thrilling 50 km downhill ride into Punakha Valley. Visit Punakha Dzong, a masterpiece of Bhutanese architecture. Overnight in Punakha.

Visit Wangduephodrang Dzong before driving and optionally cycling over Pele La Pass (3,420 m). Stop at Chendibji Chorten before arriving at the commanding Trongsa Dzong. Overnight in Trongsa.

Explore Trongsa Dzong before ascending to Yutung La Pass (3,400 m). Enjoy a sweeping downhill ride into Chummey Valley and on to Jakar in Bumthang Valley, a cycling highlight for its beauty and serenity. Overnight in Jakar.
